PHOENIX, AZ (June 1, 2011) – Drug abuse, child abduction and identity theft are just three of the serious crimes people will learn how to prevent at the upcoming 2011 Citizen Safety Forum & Expo in Mesa. Presented by the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in partnership with the Arizona Attorney General’s Office and the Arizona Crime Prevention Association, the event is free to the public and will be held on Saturday, June 11th, 2011 from 8:00am – 1:00pm at City of Grace Church, 655 E. University Drive in Mesa.
In addition to classes on protecting yourself from violent crime and property crime, the Citizen Safety Forum & Expo will offer:
- Free on-site document shredding
- Free child ID kits
- Crime prevention products from a range of vendors
- Activities for children six years of age and older
