PHOENIX— Maricopa County residents can get information on how to prevent crime in their neighborhoods, improve their own personal safety, and how criminal activity trends may impact them at the 2017 County Attorney’s Citizen Safety Forum. These free informational seminars are presented in both the East and West Valley. This year the Citizen Safety Forum features sessions on scams that target victims locally, legal and illegal drug issues, and how to keep a home and other property more secure. Each event offers attendees a complimentary lunch and Q & A session with Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery.
“Preventing crimes from happening in the first place is the best way we can work together to further reduce crime in our community,” said Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery. “I encourage people to attend the event in their area and join us in improving public safety in Maricopa County.”
