PHOENIX, AZ (February 14, 2013) – Maricopa County Attorney Bill Montgomery has doubled a cash reward offered for information leading to the arrest or indictment of anyone responsible for the fatal shooting of Sandra Johnson which took place on the afternoon of February 1st 2013 in Phoenix. Individuals with any information or knowledge of this incident are encouraged to anonymously report it to Silent Witness to collect the reward, which is now increased to $2,000.
“This was a brazen attack that took place in broad daylight and resulted in the cruel and unjust taking of an innocent life,” Montgomery said. “As citizens we must come together to hold accountable whoever is responsible for this senseless crime. I urge anyone who has any information that could be useful to do the right thing and come forward so that we may achieve justice for Sandra Johnson and her family,” he added.
At approximately 2:20 p.m. on Friday, February 1st, shots were fired into a residence near 14th Way and Roeser Road, killing Ms. Johnson. The unknown suspect(s) drove a green or mint green 2007 Ford Expedition.
