Fighting Fentanyl Together

Join the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office and the City of Avondale for an in-depth discussion about fentanyl in Maricopa County. Learn from subject matter experts about the fentanyl crisis and how we can work together to keep families safe.

This event is free and open to anyone in Maricopa County! Parents, guardians, and teachers are encouraged to participate. Sandwiches, donut holes, pastries, churros and light refreshments will be served for those who attend. Spanish translation will be available.

Naloxone will be distributed after the event, and we have a full list of vendors on site to provide information and resources to the community:

County Attorney Rachel Mitchell will be leading a speaker panel, which includes the following subject matter experts:

  • Jeffrey Beaver – Drug Enforcement Bureau Chief at the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office
  • Lieutenant Manny Rios – Patrol Bureau with Avondale Police Department
  • Stephanie Siete – Public Information Officer with Community Bridges, Inc.
  • Dr. Todd Clever, MD – Medical Director of Banner Estrella Medical Center
